Foresters consists of two large semi-detached villas, built in the 1960’s. These properties were ideal for the solution required in the local area.
This was a perfect project to bring these homes back into use for a local care provider, who will use them for specialising in care for adults with learning difficulties. This includes those with high dependence physical needs.
Hunters Rest was an old public house which had been lying dormant for a number of years and required extensive renovation. Fairhome worked with the stakeholders and planning was approved in 2017.
This scheme consists of 13 self-contained units over two floors, each comprising a separate bedroom and bathroom, with an open plan kitchen / lounge. It will house 13 tenants on a supported living basis, who have a range of mental health issues and learning disabilities.
Prinsted was originally a private residence. Due to lack of investment, the property was in need of some vital improvements and Fairhome worked closely with partners to ensure a smooth transition to convert it into supported living accommodation.
This scheme is suitable for eight service users on a shared basis. All bedrooms have an en-suite with kitchenettes and a shared open plan living area and kitchen and large bathroom.
